Epic

Epics are typically used to describe larger feature consisting of user stories. The epic navigator lets you view all the project epics in a gantt chart.

The Epic navigator will be accessable once Epic feature is enabled.

Create Epics

Enter a summary to quickly create an epic by the shortcut at the bottom.

Epic Details Pane

Click the epic summary on the chart to reveal its details pane.

• Date range: Let your team know when the epic should be completed by.
• Owner: Every epic can only have one owner.
• Follower: An Epic can have more than one follower.
• Epic Summary: Write a summary to specific an epic.
• Status: Indicate the progress of the epics.
• Tags: Give epics additional context.
• Description: Allow you to describe, give directions, or add any other context for the epic.
• Linked Work: The work associated with the epic. Click theicon to link work to epic.
• Comments: Add a comment on an epic to ask questions or provide extra information.

Add Work to Epic

To create work that linked to the epic:

1. Hover over the epic and click theicon next to the summary.
2. Write a summary to create work and link it to the epic.

Remove Work from Epic

Clicking on theicon next to the work summary can remove work from epic.

Add Milestones to Epic Gantt

To create milestones:

1.Click on the date that you want to set the milestone.

2.Enter the name of the milestone.

3.Press enter to save.

Modify Date Range

You can drag and drop the widgets horizontally on the Gantt chart to modify the time range of epics or work.

Hover over the work/epic and click the icon next to the summary to move to where its date range is located.

Search, Filter and Sorting

Use the search bar or add filters to find epics or work.

You can sort the items by summary, priority, created time, start time and due date.

Epic Progress

Hover on the progress bar and you can view more details on the epic progress.
