Work Types are the work with different details pane layout, consisting of different fields.
To manage the Work Types in your project,
To create a new work type:
button on the upper right corner.
Please note that only the existing workflows are available for selection here.

The newly created work types come with system preset fields. You can adjust the layout of fields or create custom fields for your needs.
To configure the existing work type, click the Customize button on the action column.

The upper area, where the pre-set fields layout can not be modified.
A fixed area for member fields, it alternative to other member fields like Followers
You can set the fields as required when creating new work.
Tick Display to make the field visible in the layout. Untick to make it invisible.
Lower area. You can modify the layout of this area, add fields, and remove or adjust the position.
Project fields: Fields that can only be used within the project
Organizational fields: Fields that are usable across the organization. >> Learn how to manage organization fields
Drag and drop the available fields to the preview area to add them to the layout.

In addition, you can create custom fields such as formula, text, value and etc. to make the work details more informative. Click the Add Field button to create new custom fields.
