Workload Estimates

Estimation Statistics

  • Story points: Measure the amount of effort needed to complete a work. Typically used in scrum teams.
  • Man-hours: Measure the time spent on work.
  • Work Count: Count the number of works. Suitable for non-development projects.

Estimation Settings

To set the workload estimation statistics,

  1. Go to Project Settings > Features.
  2. Find the Workload Statistics.
  3. Select the method that you want to count the workload
  4. Select the work type for which to add the estimated workload field.
Project Administrator permission is needed for this action.

Reporting on Workload

The workload displayed in the following features will base on the selected estimation statistics.

Nevertheless, you can still use whether story point or man-hour to track the workload on the work details pane.


Time Tracking

Whichever way you select to estimate the workload, you can use the Time Tracking feature to record the hour spent on the work or subtasks.

Time Tracking includes two fields: Used Man-hour and Remaining Man-hour.

The Remaining Man-hour will be auto-filled according to the Used Man-hour.

To enable the Time Tracking Feature:

  1. Go to Project Settings > Features.
  2. Toggle the Time Tracking switch to enabled.
  3. Select the work type for which you need to add Time Tracking fields.
