For Project Manager

This guide will walk you through how to organize and manage your project in Leiga. Follow the steps below and you will be able to quickly build your project.

1. Create Projects and Invite Members

There's a rich set of project templates based on best practices for different scenarios, including preset workflow, work type, and Automation. Helps you to quickly build the project process.

  • Start from a Template. Browse the project template center and choose one for your first project.
  • Invite Members to your project. Add project members from your organization or invite them via email.

>> Modify the Workflow Setting

>> Customize the work type

>> Invite new members to the organization

2. Manage Project Work

To make the project run smoothly, first make sure the project work is organized so that everything can get done on schedule.

  • Create Work. Click the shortcut in the lower right corner of your screen to create work. Add a summary and give your teammates a concise overview of the task. You can also add custom fields to make the work more informative.
  • Assign the Work to Someone. Appointing a sole Owner for the work. You can add members who need to keep track of the work progress as Followers.
  • Create Subtasks. Each work has only one Assignee listed to identify the first person responsible for it. If a work includes multiple steps and requires more people involved, you can break it into subtasks.
  • Add Dependency between Work. Give your team more context by linking the work and defining the dependencies.

>> Import work from other tools

>> Create work in bulk

3. Track the Project

Keeping abreast of project progress and trends, spot problems before they get out of control.

  • Visualize workflow on Kanban. Gain a better understanding of the overall progress in Project Kanban. Drag and drop the cards across columns to update the work status.
  • Insight project data. Use common charts or specialized widgets in the dashboard to get insight into how everything is going on in your projects.
  • Receive real-time news. Set up your notification preferences and subscribe to events you want to be notified about. Make sure you don't miss anything.

4. Automate your progress

Work is progressing, but the status info isn't up to date?

Don't worry! Now you have Leiga Automation. Leave those repetitive chores such as task assignments, status circulation, and notifications to Automation just by setting up simple rules.

5. Multi-Project Management

The following tips will allow you to keep parallel projects running smoothly, even with limited resources.

  • Spotlight on Risk Items. The Roadmap helps you see how different projects relate to each other and how they are progressing. You'll be able to focus on overdue work, make flexible adjustments, and facilitate efficient teamwork.
  • Better resource allocation. Get an overview of everyone's workload. Keep track of your team's work schedule so you can organize your resources better.

6. Prepare for the New Project

You can save the best practices settings as organization templates. In this way, organizations can standardize workflows and boost efficiency.
